On 15th of May 2020 took place the 6th edition of Arbitrators’ Quest Konrad Partners Moot Court.
On 15th of May 2020 took place the 6th edition of Arbitrators’ Quest Konrad Partners Moot Court. To adapt to the current worldwide COVID situation, the competition was held in an online format and proved that virtual arbitration hearings can be very effective and successful.
10 talented participants from 5 continents competed against each other in the virtual oral hearings and showcased a high level of performance. The mock trial was based on a case file thoroughly prepared by the lawyers of Konrad Partners.
The winner of this year edition is Grace Tran (Canada). She was awarded a two-month internship with our arbitration practice group and we look forward to welcoming her in our Vienna office. We would also like to thank all competition participants for their engagement and outstanding performance!
The Arbitrators’ Quest team of Konrad Partners, who supported at all stages of the competition and acted as arbitrators, include Peter Rižnik, Eugenia Mocanu, Iris Koberg, Thomas Davis. Mikolaj Orzazezwski, the winner of the 5th edition, acted as a guest arbitrator in this-year mock trial.

Arbitrators’ Quest is a mock trial organised by Konrad Partners and is aimed at students, graduates and young professionals providing them with an opportunity to gain insight and first-hand experience in international arbitration.
