Konrad Partners has a long-standing commitment to creating social value in the communities where we live and work. As we have grown our multinational client base, we have also managed to expand these efforts.
Our involvement takes many forms, such as providing pro bono legal services to organisations which help the vulnerable, and to individuals who lack protection from abuse and exploitation or the means to secure necessities as fundamental as housing and proper healthcare. We also encourage our lawyers and professionals to volunteer for local causes or to sit on the boards of foundations and nonprofits in order to make a positive contribution to society at large.
We are proud of our work in this area. Recent examples include assisting nonprofit Supertramps, which aims to bring formerly homeless and unemployed individuals back into the workforce by having them lead walking tours throughout the city of Vienna. We also worked with a local nonprofit to surprise underprivileged children with Advent calendars for the holiday season. Our office in Skopje is currently advising on the establishment of a social supermarket for special needs customers in North Macedonia.
However, there remains a great deal of work to be done. We look forward to making a greater social impact in the future.
