On Friday , March 20 , the new LLM program "International Dispute Resolution" started at the Danube University Krems in cooperation with the international arbitration law firm Konrad & Partners.
The students were welcomed by Dr. Christian Konrad, scientific advisor of the Danube University Krems, and the two academic directors Univ.-Prof. DDr. Thomas Ratka and Mag. Gabriel Lentner. In the introductory module the students got to know everything about "Principles and Forms of (alternative) Dispute Resolution".
Subsequently Professor Dr. Friedl Weiss, Institute of Euopean Law at the University of Vienna, talked about "Principles of International and European Economic Law". All course modules are taught in English and include conflict management as well as practice-oriented exercises such as stakeholder disputes and litigation PR, which shall provide the graduates with the necessary practical knowledge and techniques to achieve the best possible outcome for their international clients.Details
