7th edition of Arbitrators’ Quest Konrad Partners Moot Court took place on 14th of May.
On Friday, 14th of May 2021, took place the 7th edition of Arbitrators’ Quest Konrad Partners Moot Court. Due to the ongoing COVID situation, the competition was held in an online format, which proved once again to be very successful.
8 talented participants from 8 different countries competed against each other in the virtual oral hearings and showcased a high level of performance. The mock trial was based on a case file thoroughly prepared by the lawyers of Konrad Partners.
The winner of this year edition is Cristopher Laines from Guatemala. He was awarded an internship with our arbitration practice group and we look forward to welcoming him in our Vienna office. We would also like to thank all competition participants for their engagement and outstanding performance!
The Arbitrators’ Quest team of Konrad Partners, who supported at all stages of the competition and acted as arbitrators, include Peter Rižnik, Biborka Asztalos, Iris Koberg, Lundrim Dalipi, Eugenia Mocanu, joined by Ivan Prandzhev and Christoph Greil, who acted as arbitrators. The winners of previous Arbitrators' Quest' editions Agata Zwolankiewicz (2018), Mikolaj Orzazezwski (2019) and Grace Tran (2020) acted as guest arbitrators. Arbitrators’ Quest is a mock trial organised by Konrad Partners and is aimed at students, graduates and young professionals, providing them with an opportunity to gain insight and first-hand experience in international arbitration.
