The winner of the 8th edition of Arbitrators' Quest is Yash Shiralkar.
The 8th edition of Arbitrators' Quest - Konrad Partners' very own moot court took place on Friday, 13th of May. It brought together talented candidates, who competed against each other in virtual oral hearings and showcased an excellent level of performance. The mock trial was based on a case file thoroughly prepared by the lawyers of Konrad Partners. The SCC Arbitration Rules were applicable to the proceedings of the mock trial case. For this-year edition, we successfully collaborated with the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), represented by Ms Raffaela Isepponi, Legal Counsel, who also acted as an arbitrator.
The winner of the competition is Yash Shiralkar from India. He was awarded an internship with our arbitration practice group and we look forward to welcoming him in our Vienna office. We would also like to thank all competition participants for their engagement and outstanding performance! Congratulations also to all our talented participants for their excellent performance: Andra Curutiu, Gelila Haile Diguma, Gregory Chilson, Woo Seok Shin, Maria Diory Rabajante and Alejandro Arias de Luna. Yash, together with Andra and Gelila (first and second runner-up) have been awarded book prizes kindly donated by Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory International Group, our partner for this year competition.

Arbitrators’ Quest is a mock trial organised by Konrad Partners and is aimed at students, graduates and young professionals, providing them with an opportunity to gain insight and first-hand experience in international arbitration.
